First Match/Season - 1972/73 Season. At home but cannot remember the Opposition
Most Memorable Match (Home) - Middlesborough, Selhurst Park. A Romantic '1st Date' with my wife to be.
Most Memorable Match (Away) - Bournemouth 1974 (ish), had never seen Charlton lose and it was the very first away game, I went to- They won again 2-0.
Favourite all time Player - Derek Hales
Best all time Player - Paul Walsh
Worst all time Player - Andy Jones (ex Port Vale)
Favourite fantasy all time team (mix and match decades) - Nicky Johns, John Humphrey, Richard Rufus, Les Berry, Chris Powell, Paul Walsh, Lee Bowyer, Mark Kinsella, Colin Powell, Derek Hales, Clive Mendonca, Sub - Carl Leaburn!!
First taste of success as a Charlton fan - Promotion from the old 3rd Division to old 2nd Division.
Most Memorable moment - The Greatest Game Wembley 1998.
BiggestDisappointment - An obvious answer but leaving the Valley, especially as I was about to start at Kent University, the nearest I had lived to London. It wasn't very inspiring to take friends to their 1st Charlton game at Selhurst Park.
Any Charlton related story - I had a close friend at University who was an avid Newcastle fan. In the 3 years we were there, despite Newcastle being supposedly a much better team, I don't think Charlton ever lost to them. (we still seem to enjoy beating them home and away)
