Events in history

Many things have happened in history. Many great astronomer's have lived and died and made wonderful discoveries. In more recent times, space exploration has leapt ahead from the infancy days of sputnik to the permanent occupation of low earth orbit on board the International Space Station.

This, and the following pages tries to commemorate some of the acheivements and honour those involved through the centuries by marking the anniversaries of the pepole and events.
