LINDEN BARTON

Linden Barton (violin) started learning in New Zealand at the age of eight. After moving to England she attended Chetham’s School of Music before going to Durham to study Natural Sciences (Physics and Maths - for her sins), in which she graduated in 2002.

Despite this degree course, Linden played an active role in several Durham music groups, including having been President of Durham University Orchestral Society and a founder member of the Palatinate Ensemble. Having gained her Masters she is now living and working in Newcastle. Linden plays a violin kindly loaned by the Tompkins Tate Instrumental Trust.
