Lydia Patmore (violin) studied English at Trevelyan College, University of Durham, graduating in 2003. She studied for six years at the Junior Department of the Royal College of Music, and has won a number of prizes in festivals and competitions: since winning first prize in the High Wycombe Musicians Awards has regularly been invited to give solo performances at home in Buckinghamshire. During her time at Durham University she played with the University Orchestral Society as well as the Palatinate Ensemble.
