Cremellos

In the search to breed quality palominos, it was inevitable that we should encounter cremellos and perlinos! Many people, myself included, find the double dilute ponies a little ghostly to look at, but as with all good ponies, the colour really doesn't matter and in fact really rather grows on you! I currently own several double dilutes at Taraco including Taraco Cherish and Craigdorne Celeste who are both true cremello welsh section As (palomino x palomino) and Dolrhedyn Misty Morning who is (palomino x grey). All three are superb examples of welsh section As and are exceptionally well-bred featuring back-to-back superstars throughout their pedigrees. I was also honoured to own the delightful Granby Lacewing who was a perlino welsh section A (palomino x dun), unfortunately I was devastated to lose Lace early in 2005 but not before she produced a beautiful buckskin filly foal, Taraco Louisiana who has been retained. Please click on the photos to see more information, pedigree and pictures of the ponies.

Granby Lacewing

Delightfully old-fashioned perlino mare by Granby Moth and out of Granby Belinda (by Twyford Shrimp). Unfortunately she died in May 2005 but not before she had the beautiful filly Taraco Louisiana who has been retained to continue the L-line.

Craigdorne Celeste

Lovely cremello filly by Supreme Champion Owston Harvest and out of Supreme Champion Ringstead Charming Lass (by Forlan Brigidier). Successfully shown as a foal this filly has been retained as a future broodmare.

Taraco Cherish

Big-moving cremello filly foal by the lovely young stallion Tynyfid Carwyn and out of Supreme Champion Ringstead Charming Lass (by Forlan Brigidier). This filly has been retained as a future broodmare.
