Danaway Cherimarie

Cherimarie - named after Matt and Jose's daughter. This comes from the french for beloved (cherie) and the pretty french girls name Marie       

This stunning liver chestnut mare is dam of my foundation mare Danaway Fantasy and half-sister to the multiple Supreme Champion Danaway Tango, being by Tireinon Triple Crown and out of Rainhill Fantasy (out of a Derwen Telynor mare and by the superb stallion Brynymor Welsh Magic). Her sire (out of the infamous Tireinon Spring Song and by Nebo Brenin) was a Builth Wells 'Sale Topper' in 1984 and later went on to win the RWAS in Harness. Her dam, Rainhill Fantasy, was a half-sister to RWAS winners Thorneyside The Boss and Thorneyside Flyer, as well as to the great stock-getter Trevallion Valentino.  Cherimarie has a truly awesome pedigree with Nebo Brenin and Brynymor Welsh Magic as grandsires and Derwen Teylnor, Nebo Black Magic, Parc Welsh Flyer and Hendy Brenin her four great grandsires! The mares in her immediate pedigree are also some of the greatest: Tireinon Spring Song; Nebo Rosebud; Cathedine Pride; Hwylog Briallen and Faelog Fashion. A huge thank you to the Attrell family - yet again - and to Simon who made this possible by offering to buy her two back legs if I bought the front two! ;o)
