A picturesque thatched cottage with wonderful views down the river from most rooms. Full of character, it has been most attractively renovated whilst still retaining old stripped pine panelling, open beams and a huge inglenook fireplace. The designer kitchen has a built-in ceramic hob, oven, washer/drier, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The spacious living-room is very comfortably furnished, with colour television and a woodburner.
Two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom, all with linen included but not towels, have delightful views from under the eaves and there is a pretty bathroom on the half-landing with bath with overhead shower attachment, basin and loo.
Outside, a patio area with garden furniture adjoins the cottage, with lawns on a higher level - not fenced in for tinies! - offering wonderful river views. There is private parking for two cars. All electricity - there are several night store heaters - is included. Phone for incoming calls. Dogs are not accepted. |
