Foster Families in France
The caring and humane alternative to quarantine for pets coming in to the UK from non approved countries

Patrice, our volunteer co-ordinator in France has helped many members find good foster homes for their pets.  We thank her for all the time and effort she has put into finding suitable foster homes with pet loving families. Dog owners can contact Irene Stephenson DIRECT but cat owners should contact Patrice. Fostering is not cheaper than quarantine (financial details are discussed directly with the fosterer) but this is a more humane system with the pet living as a member of the family and HAVING CONSTANT EXERCISE during the six months needed for them to be prepared correctly by the French vet under the rules of the Pet Travel Scheme, for entry into the UK.
Cat owners should contact Mrs Patrice Swinglehurst,
(our English co-ordinator based near Toulouse)
