The Tavern at Tansley Food is served seven days a week
Full A la Carte menu available Fridays & Saturdays. Bar menu available Sunday - Thursday
Lunchtime bar menu available from 12 - 3pm Monday - Saturday and 12 - 3.30pm on Sundays.
A variety of themed specials are also available on a nightly basis providing a wide range of dishes to supplement the extensive menus.

The Gate Inn From the A415 Matlock to Alfreton road, turn Left into Church street and The Gate is at the end of the village with lovely views from the beer garden towards Riber.
Lunches are served Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 2pm and evening meals are served from 6 to 9pm. Big steak night is on a Wednesday and on Sunday there is a carvery with a choice of three roasts with all the trimmings.
A wide range of menus includes a bar menu, vegetarian menu, senior citizen menu, childrens menu and specials boards. All sweets are home made by the resident chef.
A large beer garden with BBQ facilities is available for parties, weddings etc. and outside bars are also catered for.

The Royal Oak The small village pub with the big reputation.
Lunches are served daily, from 12.00 to 2-30pm Monday to Friday and from 12.00 to 3.00pm on Saturday and Sunday. Evening meals are served on Thursday to Sunday from 6.30 to 9.15pm
The 'Oak' has a wide range of fayre including grills, steaks, fish, burgers, salads, sandwiches of all kinds and all the usual pub favourites. Check the specials board for daily specials and vegetarian options.

Scotland Nurseries The Heathers Coffee Shop, serves morning coffee, full lunches and afternoon teas, with a full restaurant license. The specialities are the home-baked cakes, tea breads and mouthwatering puddings. Booking a table for Sunday lunch and Pensioners day on Tuesdays is advisable. Overlooking the outdoor terraced area and surrounding garden centre, the Coffee Shop offers a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Matlock Garden and Wildlife Centre (Nottingham Road, Tansley.) Jets Coffee shop and restaurant is open daily from 9am until 5pm and is licenced for wines, beers and cider. A wide range of hot and cold meals is available daily. Thursday is Senior Citizen's Day with a 2-course meal for £3-99. Breakfasts are served from 9-30am until 11am and lunches from 12noon until 2-15pm.
