Marriage Strays (1840 - 1910)
A marriage stray is a person who did not live in the village of Tansley but who married someone from the village. The table is arranged alphabetically by name, with the name of the stray first to make searching easier.
Whilst as much care as possible has been taken in transcribing from the original registers errors may have crept in so the original documents should be consulted.
