ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE days are usually Saturdays but if this is inconvenient, we may be able to arrange a different starting day. Short breaks are available at some times of the year at 50% of the weekly cost. The cottage will usually be ready for you to take over at 5pm at the start of your holiday. We will send your traveling instructions near to the date of your holiday. Please do not arrive early - time is needed to thoroughly clean the cottage between lets. For the same reason please be ready to leave the cottage by 11am on departure day.

METHODS OF PAYMENT You may prefer to pay the full amount for your holiday straight away - and you must do so if you are making your booking less than 30 days before your start date. If you are making full payment we should receive the complete rental shown, otherwise a deposit of one third of the cottage price should be paid on booking. If you cancel your holiday for any reason and we cannot re-let, all payment made will be retained. If we can re-let payment will be returned less any costs and discounts incurred. If we cancel for any reason we will return any payments made. This is the only liability we will incur. The balance of payment must be received by 30 days before your holiday begins. Once booking is confirmed payment may be made by cheque, crossed and made payable to Grace Cottages, and sent to Caudwell’s Mill Craft Centre, Rowsley, Matlock, Derbys, DE4 2EB. Alternatively you may pay using most major debit/credit cards - telephone Mrs. Pat Priestley on 01629 584634 or 01629 733185.  Electricity is charged by meter reading (first £5 free). We will leave you enough logs or coal for a couple of fires in the coal burning stove, more may be purchased locally. We leave our telephone (01445 790209) for your convenience, please reimburse us for your calls.

YOUR PARTY Please give details of all members of your party, for insurance purposes, when you make your final payment. We accept couples and family groups only and under no circumstances may the number of guests exceed 4 plus baby. If you have any breakage's please inform us, minor accidents are bound to happen occasionally and if it is not possible for you to replace the item please tell us so that we know we need to do so. Any damage to the property, furniture, fixtures and fittings, pictures, lamps or craft pottery must be paid for and you are jointly and severally liable. Please do not smoke in the cottage. Information regarding pets must be provided.

LINEN  *You will need to bring your own sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases, towels and tea towels. All  duvets and pillows are provided.  LINEN PROVIDED FOR OVERSEAS GUESTS.

FAMILY FACILITIES A colour television (full sky package - we ask you to pay for any films, sporting events etc on pay per view), DVD player, video, CD, radio and tape player are provided. There are walking books and Ordnance Survey maps, novels, reference books and games. An iron, ironing board and hair dryer are available for your use. A mobile shop and butcher visits Diabaig on Tuesday pm. (Telephone 01445 712485 or 712266 for orders) The nearest shop is 8 miles away at Torridon.   The Scottish paths society and several teams of university students work very hard to maintain the network of footpaths in the vicinity of Ben Eighe, Loch Maree and the area around Diabaig. This ensures that walks, whether gentle or challenging, are a pleasure.
