This pic shows the diesel loco that ran on the Pit House Coll to Brandon line that could be seen from Ushaw Moor. The gent in the hat was the training and safety manager at Pit House where the photo was taken.
note from webmaster : My father Ken Clough who worked at Pit House till its closure said the safety manager was Billy Watson. (let me know if this is correct)
