These are a few of the pictures from a book I worked on with Australian friend Patrick McGeown during my 4 years in Thailand. I spent almost 2 years as a volunteer at the Pattaya Orphanage, School for the Deaf, School for the Blind, Redemptorist Vocational School and Street Kids project.
The Orphanage was started about 1972 by Redemptorist Priest Father Ray Brennan; A big straight talking Chicago born Irish-American priest who got things done and was loved by everyone who knew him. Sadly he died in 2003...but his work goes on.
The book has 160 pages; 80 black & white photographs opposite thoughtful quotations. About 12,000 have been sold. All proceeds go to the Father Ray Foundation.
