Best results so far in this years National Masters Track Points and Scratch races. Hoping to follow this up in the World Masters and National Track Championships. Anthony Kappes [tandem stoker]
Anthony

World record holder on tandem over 200m. European sprint champion 2005. Brilliant even though visually impaired. "I got into tandem cycling when I discovered I had an allergy to running into trees. Since starting in November 2004 I have been lucky enough to get the world record for the 200m tandem time trial, and have won tandem sprint gold at the Paralympic World Cup in manchester and the IPC Open European Championships in Holland. I am having a lot of fun but still know nothing about bikes and tend to get mixed up with gearing up and down. "

Started competetive cycling in 2004 and, so far, have proven to be somewhat of a Jack-of-All-Trades (master of none?) Have been known to win races every now and again and the PB's keep getting beaten, so there might be hope for me yet... Aside from cycling, I climb mountains and give a home to large numbers of furry animals. During the day, I look after the money at Vital Services Group.
