|
|||||||||
Shorts SH360In 1963 Short Bros flew the prototype of the Shorts Skyvan the first in a successful family of STOL utility aircraft. Developed from the Skyvan the Shorts 330 was a larger commuter/ regional airliner utilizing that aircrafts fuselage cross-section and tail (without the rear ramp). The SH360 is a stretched development of the 330. The 360 first flew in 1981, and differed from the 330 in having a single fin. The engines are a higher rated version of the Pratt and Whitney PT6A and the outer wing and bracing strut has been strengthened. |
