The School management team

The school is managed by a team including the head teacher, the school senior management team and the governors. The head teacher is responsible for the internal organisation, management and control of the school and for advising on and implementing the governing body's strategic framework. The governing body take a largely strategic role in running the school with some tactical responsibilities and acts as a "critical friend" to the head teacher by providing advice and support.

School management philosophy

The School is managed according to the guidelines and requirements of Government. The management style is open and inclusive, with emphasis on teamworking and a strong focus on timely decision making. Communication between the management team is a priority. Frequent contact between the Governors, and a high amount of time spent in the school by the whole team, provide a foundation for making effective, relevant and tough decisions when they are needed.
