LOCAL PLACES TO VISIT

Only fifteen minutes away we have the magnificent Caerphilly Castle with its own leaning tower. This vast fortress is one of the greatest surviving castles and is second only in size to Windsor.

There are many historical castles to visit in the area, including Raglan and Chepstow.  Tintern Abbey and the beautiful Wye Valley are half an hour away.  Blaenavon is a world heritage site and is home to Big Pit, an experience of being taken around a former working coal mine by an ex-miner.
