The bench chuck is of fabricated aluminium with precision roller bearings set into the body.
Every bench chuck has a ground silver steel shaft with a 6.0mm bore to allow longer steels to be passed through.
A Jacobs precision chuck is fitted as standard and is lapped by hand to ensure concentricity with the spindle
The drive is provided from a high quality motor (220/240 volt) which comes with a foot pedal for accurate hands free work.
The pulley is ergonomically designed for hand feeding of the spindle ( threading etc).
The standard bench chuck comes ready for use, mounted on a board which also makes them extremely portable (ideal for exhibition work).
