Here's the Summer 2005 list. Hopefully our biggest and best ever. Lot's of top rare items.

Just returned from a trip to South Africa to visit friends - no time to list any new ones found there but look out next time.

The Largest UK record fair at Wembley at the end of November 2004 was good for selling rare albums but slightly dissappointing for buying good items - they just get impossible to find so make the most of these gems whilst you can.

Prices on the net and in particular Ebay seem to be going through the roof for nice items - we know that we could get bigger prices on some of these items there, but we run this site for the love of the music and to reward our loyal customers. We've never had ambitions to be rich (it shows!) and would rather more folks hear this great stuff we collect. Having said that a lot of our prices have risen over the years - if we get it cheap you get it cheap, if it's costs us, it costs you.

At last an official CD reissue of the magnificent Bob Theil - So Far album is out. We can supply copies at £10 plus postage. Lovely package with the EP as bonus tracks and nice booklet. No vinyl issue yet, but we may decide to make it ourselves - and hopefully as a 2LP set with great extra unreleased tracks/versions. Everyone who had original copies of me has loved it and many asked for copies for friends etc.

On a duller note, we have had to register Psychotron Records for VAT. If any of our regular customers are also registered in their own countries, please let us know. Our UK VAT number is 813 5148 48.

Only 3rd copy ever found of nice female/male UK acid folk privaate pressing, all original songs, only 50 copies made, numbered (11). With insert, electric / accoustic guitars, harrmonium, electric bass. Paste on cover - top seam split, couple small water stains, signed on rear - true rarity

Rarest on this sought after UK private label, related to Astral Navigations, mix of styles with acid folk (some lovely female vocals), fuzzy acid rock and bizarre elements - a bit of an acid classic. No copies came with sleeves, only 99 copies made - this copy is superb played once or twice only

THE LITTER - DISTORTIONS (USA WARWICK 1966)

Yes an original of the loudest garage LP ever - blows away the reissues completely, awesome sound. Cover near mint except for small bottom edge tear coloured in (black on black) and top edge has 3" split - no ringwear !! So looks great in a pvc cover. Vinyl has light marks over it, looks vg but plays ex to m- all through, not even too crackly between tracks, still under half price of a mint one that doesn't exsist anyway.....

1st on the label, never seen before ! Very pleasant female/male vocal folk with accoustic backing, flipback sleeve, only 49 pressed, little flap damage rear left (small), 2 silent surface marks side 2, plays m- all through

ION MISTRESS - SUNLOVER / PROMISED LAND UK PSYCHEDELIC / ACID ROCK 7" ACETATE

UK psychedelic acetate on the Zella label from Birmingham. Both sides are great, one is a fastish 5 min track with great psychedelic guitar breaks, the other is slower acid rock with great melody and seagull sound effects. BOB THEIL - SO FAR (UK PRIVATE 1982)

The BEST UK private pressing from the last 30 years, most tracks written in the 70's and sounds 70's, brilliant original songs with Floyd styled electric leads and backing band. We traced him and have a few original copies to sell (to benefit him also). These original copies also come with a 5 track 7" EP that was made 2 years earlier, which is also totally stunning - EVERY customer who has had the LP has raved over it.
