Anthology series of feature length TV movies made by Hammer Films for ITV featuring a variety of guest actors in Tales with a twist style of storylines (reminicent of the 'Thriller' series of the early 70s) Following on from the previous TV series 'Hammer House of Horror' and trading on the Hammer legacy these films had the horror elements toned down.

Mark of the Devil |
A Distant Scream |
They often turn up as individual films rather than an anthology, as originally broadcast and are listed in many guides under their individual titles. Featuring many well known faces - unfortunately the scripts of the majority fail to impress, however there are a few that save the day.
