This instalment follows the story of a doctor and his new wife arriving to take up a practice in a country village. The wife seems to be the focus of a strange attraction to the village's inhabitants - who appear a very, very odd bunch indeed! Visiting the surgery and showering her with odd gifts, something's obviously afoot! Believing in the old ways and customs, with a touch of superstition, this peculiar crowd believe that she was a gift sent to them for a special purpose, which we are shortly to discover.

With a bit of devil worship and black magic thrown in, this story is a more than obvious rehash of many ideas from Horror films of the sixties. The supporting cast includes many faces more acquainted to British comedy, including a couple of veterans of the small screen.
