Television Wales and West (TWW) [also WWN area from '64]

WWN ceased in 1964, in what was really an unviable stand alone franchise area. It's area was incorporated into the TWW region from 1964.

Wales West and North (WWN) [ceased service '64]

TWW produced few Networked programmes besides a few religious offerings, although it did provide a number of Welsh Language programmes for it's region.

Harlech Television (HTV)

HTV took over in 1968 with a remit to provide better targetted programming to the two distinct parts of it's region. With the advent of S4C in 1982 it's welsh language output has been confined to that channel, however it still provides distinct regional programming. As well as the usual gameshows, over the years HTV has made a number of contributions to the ITV Network; having built up a strong reputation in children's programming in particular during the 1970's (see list below). As with many series of this era, some have episodes missing from the archives.
