It's hotel food and so will be of fairly good quality. Its up to attendees if they want to have an evening meal in the hotel. They will also arrange packed lunches for us (at extra cost).

Graham's travel to UKAGM page is the best source of information including a map of Paignton. From memory, you go to paignton, then looking at the sea, you turn right, and go along the seafront. At the end there is a mini roundabout, where you turn left and go up the hill. The hotel is up there on the right. Over the top of the hill is Goodrington.

There are trains to Torquay from Paddington station in London pretty much hourly, change at Exeter or Taunton. There is one direct service on a Saturday. The journey time is between 3 hours and 3 1/2 hours by train. Driving is a little less, approaching 3 hours. The actual hotel is in Paignton, Devon, which has a train station but is not as well serviced as Torquay which is a mere 15 minute drive away.
