Hello there,

And welcome to Pebadale Apiaries Web Site, constructed in response to world wide demand for our Apitherapy Info, products, news and contact information to go on-line. So here it is!

For 22 years I have been keeping bees and now have around 100 hives. It all started with one hive in my back garden. My first experience of apitherapy was around 20 years ago when I supplied honey for a lady to use on her mother's bedsores! Of all that was tried this was the only thing that worked. Since that moment, my interest in apitherapy and the uses of all bee products in health and healing, has grown considerably.

I supply beekeeping equipment for beekeepers and I am an agent for E.H. Thorne (Beehives) Ltd. and Northern Bee Books.

Recently the range of goods supplied has expanded to include apitherapy books and supplies as well as information about apitherapy, news and mail order bees which are all featured on this web site!

Keeping me beesy, I have served as Chairman of my local beekeeping association, the county association and the British Beekeepers' Association. I am also on the committee of the UK Apitherapy Society (UKAS).

My family are involved with the bees also. My two children, Naomi and Rebekah, have grown up with bees around them all the time. My wife, Barbara, has always had an interest in cooking and consequently wrote a book on Microwave Cooking with Honey. Barbara is also very interested in the various uses of all the bee products and has acquired a lot of knowledge on apitherapy - consequently she is joint Secretary of UKAS.
