Meeting

The UK Apitherapy Society organisation was formed by a number of beekeepers at the National Honey Show in l996 following a talk by Bill Wright. We all had an interest in bee sting therapy but some of us knew very little about it.

Since that time we have held a number of meetings, formed a committee, run some successful workshops and consequently learned a great deal more about it. There is still a lot to learn.

Our workshops are usually held in the North London area and are publicised to members and on this web site - see below:

Workshops

These workshops are a chance to see the therapy in action and where stinging is done safely. It is also a chance to speak to others who may have already had therapy. We are concerned that the safe use of bee venom is promoted, so test stings will be given before therapy begins.

If we are to help others, who would benefit from Apitherapy, then we need your support. Here's how:

Become a member and help us to help those who would really benefit, or
Give a donation to keep the workshops going.

We do not charge for treatment, so rely completely on donations and membership subscriptions for our income. We would not be able to continue without your ongoing support - thank you.

If you wish to receive notification of workshops and any planned lectures or seminars could you please return the printable membership form to the Secretary with payment of your membership. We look forward to receiving your support. Click here to view and print out the form...
