1st Fighter Wing, 71st Fighter Squadron, FF, F-15C.
| Langley AFB, Virginia provided extra F-15C content with
these from the 71st Fighter Squadron, among the aircraft deployed were three
with the yellow tail band of the 27th FS, they used the callsigns "Fist" and
"Torch". |

388th Fighter Wing, 4th Fighter Squadron, HL, F-16C
| The 4th FS from nearby Hill AFB in Utah were at Nellis to
participate in Weapons school training, using the callsigns "Bones" and
"Fujin". |

23rd Wing, 75th Fighter Squadron, FT, A-10A.
| A-10s from the 75th Fighter Squadron were based for cross
country navigational training, unfortunately during their detachment one
aircraft was lost, although the pilot successfully ejected, while another
suffered a hydraulics failure but landed safely. |

28th Bomb Wing, 37th Bomb Squadron, EL, B-1B.
| Four Tiger striped Bones were present at Nellis for
night flying and presumably weapons school work, here one is fitted with the
towed decoy system whilst the other is clean. |

50th/61st Airlift Squadrons, C-130.
| Providing support for the Thunderbird displays were
this pair of Little Rock C-130s which used Thunderbird callsigns.. |

Customs service
| A nice surprise was the arrival of this P-3 N16295
belonging to the customs service, it flew one mission from the DOE ramp, of
note are the many alterations and additions to the basic airframe. |
