Regals

Fringed Aztec
Growing from cuttings
Cuttings are taken in March or April as I find they need a longer growing time 1st stop is done at 3 sets of leaves after the cutting is well rooted and all other stops are done at 4 to 5 sets of leaves. The plants will have 4 stops in all making sure on the last stop that all shoots are stopped at the same time. The plants will be fed only when the pots are full of roots with a balanced feed at all times and only at a quarter strength and Maxicrop will be used at 2 weekly intervals.

I have found that in my growing conditions that my Regals need 18 to 20 weeks between the last stop and the show date
After the show
I cut back my plants to get fresh cutting material or grow them on for next year. When they come back into growth I will wash the old soil off the roots and repot them into a smaller pot then continue the growing programme as above.
