MAGNUM PHOTO'S

In this section are some photographs of MAGNUM that I took a long time ago.

The first set are from a Private Gig that took place at Trentham Gardens in Staffordshire on August 30th 1987 - This was the day after they had played high on the bill at the Reading Festival. They put on a very good show, even though there was only a small crowd - perhaps because there were a lot of their family members in the audience.

The second set are from a gig at Leeds Poytechnic from February 8th 1985. This was a couple of months before 'On A Storyteller's Night' was released so a couple of the new songs were showcased. The backdrop, merchandise and most of the set was the same as the 'Eleventh Hour' tour - although there was only one guitarist (for the 'Eleventh Hour' tour, Magnum were augmented on stage by Robin George on Guitar) The band for the showr was Bob, Tony and Wally with Eddie George on Keyboards and Jim Simpson on Drums.
Due to the large volume of smoke that was used the photo's are not brilliant.

Finally there is a picture of Robin George - just so you can see what he looks like. This was also taken at Leeds Polytechnic three weeks after the Magnum gig, on March 2nd 1985. Robin George and his band Dangerous Music were playing support to Uli Jon Roth on his 'Beyond The Astral Skies' tour.

All photo's were taken on a cheap '110' camera, but the quality is generally good, especially on some of the Trentham Gardens Pictures.
