Jack Nicholson is an obsessive compulsive, who won't walk on the lines on the pavement. Helen Hunt is a waitress with a very sick son. Greg Kinnear is a gay artist, with a dog called Verdell. Verdell is the star of this film, he manages to upstage Nicholson who nonetheless carries off one of the best performances of his career.

Funny, Sad, Touching and Captivating, this was the best film of 1997. 7 Academy Award Nominations prove this!

The dog alone is enough reason to give this one a viewing!

As for Extras, not much here but the chapter list and a commentary track. Although this alone is very good
