Personal Profile
So you
want to know a little about me do you?

Well, I'm a 40 year old enthusiast photographer living in Central England and I have been involved with this wonderful hobby for the past 21 years. I enjoy taking photographs of a wide range of subjects but my two favourites are landscapes and people. Like most keen photographers, I'm always looking for the next image - that once in a lifetime shot.
I'm a active member of Cannock Photographic Society which I consider to be one of the best clubs in the UK, and exhibit both in the UK and overseas, having won various awards and medals. I use both colour transparency and monochrome film on 35mm and 6x7 and print both conventionally and, more recently, digitally. Equipment wise I have recently upgraded to the Canon EOS system having used their older manual focus system for many years. My EOS 1v and EOS 3 bodies and a range of lenses from 20mm to 400mm cover 95% of my needs and are usually accompanied by a good sturdy tripod and lots of Fuji Provia F and Velvia film.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my year off work photographing just a few of the many countries I would like to visit and although I would dearly love to spend my time earning a living from photo-travel, I feel it's a cut throat business with many expenses to cover before any sales are made. So I'm now back at the office earning a few more pennies to keep the wolf from the door. I designed these pages simply to show you a few of my images rather than to sell anything but if you would like a print of any particular image then please get in touch.
The images you see on this site are just a small selection I have taken during my year off and I have many more in my files covering all sorts of subject matter. Later this year I plan to add a few more images to give a little more variety. So watch this space....
