  4. Basecamp is located in NT stable block, which houses a visitors centre and lavatories, and is located behind Ilam Hall Youth Hostel. Basecamp entrance door is in middle of the building directly facing the NT car park. The stable block is a smaller building than the Hall.

The Meeting Place is usually in the lounge bar of the Isaak Walton Hotel. (Ilam end of the hotel).

On the edge of the River Manifold and foot of the Country Park, this is a busy and beautiful area. A footpath winds up the steep River Dove valley past spectacular limestone rocks weathered into strange shapes. There are many stone walls in this area, and in the past we have had a go.
