  1. Scotney Castle is signposted off to the LEFT shortly after the village of LAMBERHURST, when travelling SOUTH.
  2. Take this turning and follow the
  3. main drive.
  4. Carry on past the PUBLIC CAR PARK, forking left.
  5. Follow signposts to the ESTATE OFFICE, turning RIGHT immediately BEFORE you reach it. Note signposts on LEFT to LITTLE SCOTNEY FARM and BASECAMP, which follow.
  6. Continue along the track for over ½ mile (watch out for speed bumps) until reaching LITTLE SCOTNEY FARM.
  7. When the road forks to the RIGHT, fork LEFT (STRAIGHT ON) and then SHARP LEFT before the SMALL WOODEN BARN.
  8. Park on the left. The basecamp is a bit further up the track.

The Meeting Place is "The Globe and Rainbow" at Kilndown. By road, take next left turn (9) to Kilndown after the Scotney Estate (about 1 mile). Pub is 1 mile along road on the right.

On foot, go back by small wooden barn (7), find a farm gate opposite, cross the field towards a footpath over a bridge and continue along the path, which steadily climbs. When reaching a road, turn right. Pub is 500 yards away.
