Here's the lowdown on some other magazines from Pigasus Press. Although all these titles
are no longer being published, and many issues are out-of-print, we do have a limited
supply remaining of some fanzines and sci-fi magazines. If you are interested in further
details, please contact Pigasus Press for lists of current
stocks.
Strange Adventures
For a while during the early 1990s, Strange Adventures: the Fanzine of Fantastic Media
was the only monthly fanzine of its kind being published in the UK. About 60 issues appeared
between 1989 and 1994, breaking new ground as both regular independent review and as an A4
size, litho quality, amateur periodical.
Among the highlights of its five-year mission were themed editions about Women In Films,
ecological 'Green' issues, and specials devoted to
2001: A Space Odyssey, and Blade Runner.
