Biography:
Born in Nottinghamshire, July 1961, Tony Lee became addicted to science fiction as a teenager -
after reading Silver Surfer comics, and books by the likes of E.E 'Doc' Smith, A.E.
van Vogt, and Arthur C.
Clarke, and seeing Doctor Who, Star Trek, and classic films - The Day The
Earth Stood Still and War Of The Worlds on TV. During the 1980s, Tony was afflicted
with "video collectors' syndrome" and has stockpiled 1000s of movies on tape.

In 1989, he launched S.A. Publishing - for therapy, and this quickly developed into Pigasus Press
- known for publishing SF poetry anthologies, and for introducing some European and American
writers, previously unknown in UK, to a British readership via the pages of various genre
magazines, such as Fax 21, Premonitions, and The Zone. One of his interests
(besides SF, horror films, TV cop shows, Hong Kong fantasy cinema, and rock music), is a curious
fascination for helicopters in the movies. Check out Tony's Rotary Action site. Favouring
the lazy lifestyle of a part-time writer, Tony doesn't have any pets (especially cats with silly
names), and has never been to Milton Keynes.
