Journeys
for Today inspired bySpectacular Scenery: PA journeys are set in some of the most remote and beautiful locations in Great Britain and Ireland; history, local culture, together with wonderful scenery, are all part of the experience.
Time for Reflection: The days are not crowded with activity, allowing space and time for reflection, either on your own or with others – a listening to others’ stories. Each day begins and ends with a time of gentle worship.
A sense of Community: Fun and laughter are never far away on a Pilgrim Adventure journey, even when it comes to doing the chores. Journeying together we share practical tasks which might include packing a minibus, meal preparation, washing up - all great times for forging new friendships.
Spirit of Pilgrimage: Exploring new places, drawing close to God… There’s a sense of adventure and a spirit of pilgrimage on all our journeys.
Spirit of the Celts: The Celtic Christians were great adventurers who spoke of pilgrimage as ‘wandering for the love of Christ.’ Although our journeys are first and foremost ‘Journeys for Today,’ many have been inspired by the early Celtic saints who lived on the fringe of Western Europe.
We
have deliberately kept our prices as low as possible for 2009, bearing
in mind the economic recession.
Our journeys are suitable for singles and couples and people of all ages and during 2009 we anticipate meeting many new faces as well as welcoming back old friends. We hope you will be among them.
