- pseudoplatanus `Brilliantissimum´ . Small tree with brilliant pink foliage in the spring, turning to soft green as the summer progresses.
- pseudoplatanus `Simon- Louis- Freres´. Leaves are pink when young becoming blotched and streaked green and white.
- japonicum pendulum. Flowers in May. Small weeping tree; smokey pink and yellow autumn foliage which smells like burnt sugar, the spring foliage is a soft orange turning to light green.
- laevigatus `Rosea Flora Plena´. Flowers in May. Pretty Hawthorn with double pink flowers.
- debeuzevillei. Beautiful patterned bark and a shapely crown, juvenile leaves are large and green, silvery blue twigs and stems.
- niphophila. Young snakeskin bark, bright grey, green and cream, silvery- white or green scimitar shaped leaves on orange stalks.
- niphophila `Pendula´. Weeping form of E. Niphophila. Leader grows upright, the side branches are pendulous, young stems are purple or silver.
- perriniana. Flowers in August. Stems grow through blue-grey or green circular leaves. when leaves loosen they can spin around the stems in the wind,hence the common name ´spinning gum ´ !. Creamy flowers.

- cashmeriana `Rosiness´. Flowers in May. Flowers are a soft pink. Fruits are rosy-pink in loose drooping clusters like pink marbles, remaining long after the leaves have fallen.

- domestica `Eastern Promise´. Flowers in May. Leaves turn Purple then fiery Orange in the Autumn, Fruits deep rose-pink in dense hanging clusters which weigh down the branches.
- japonica `Pink Chimes´. Flowers from June to August. Needs to be viewed from below to fully appreciate the profusion of lovely, pink, bell-shaped flowers.
- platyphyllus. Flowers from June to July. `Broad leaved Lime´ Vigorous tree with rounded habit and downy shoots, small scented flowers. Produces suckers and can have a problem with aphids.

- x. pallidus `Marie Simon´. Flowers from July to October. Deciduous, bushy shrub with mid green leaves, and conical clusters of soft pink fluffy flowers.
- trichotomum var. fargesii `Variegatum´. Flowers from August to September. Lovely large shrub with strong gold margins to the leaves and the same lovely flowers as the plain form.
- australis. Long sword shaped green leaves, eventually on a tall trunk.
- controversa `Variegata´. Flowers in May. (The Wedding Cake Tree) Beautiful variegation of silver on a green leaf, combined with the graceful tabulated growth, make this one of my favourite plants in the garden.
- florida `Cherokee Sunset´. Flowers from May to July. Tree/Shrub with leaves margined deep yellow and pink and large red flower bracts. Lovely autumn colours, turning from deep pink on the leaf margins to deep red in the centres. Gorgeous!
- kousa satomi. Flowers from May to July. Tree/Shrub with beautiful red colouration on the leaf and dark pink flower bracts, which surround a central creamy eye. The autumn colours are a rich red all over.
- rutgersensis `Stellar Pink´. Flowers in May. Profusely flowering every year with lovely pinky white bracts, and gorgous red Autumn colours.
- coggyria `Grace´. Flowers from July to October. Shrub with large purple red leaves and large purplish pink flower clusters resembling clouds of pink smoke from a distance; autumn colours are vivid scarlet.
- kalmiflora. Flowers in June. Charming shrub with large white flower flushed carmine. Purple autumn colour.
- fortunei `Blondie´. Striking evergreen foliage of dark green with a central gold splash.
- fortunei `Emerald and Gold´. As the name suggests, evergreen leaves of emerald margined in gold, tinged pink in the winter.

- syriacus `Helene´. Flowers from August to October. Semi double white flowers flushed pink with maroon blotches at the base.
- syriacus `Meehanii´. Flowers from August to September. Shrub with prettily variegated leaves of green and cream and an abundance of large, deep pink flowers with crimson centres.
- syriacus `Woodbridge´. Flowers from August to September. Shrub which is one of the last to come into leaf; huge pink flowers with a purple centre.
