Location: 1 Green man on side of door arch on external wall at the rear of the Church. This wonderful little Green Man is well worth a visit and looks across the Graveyard out to sea. This Church was designed by Pugin, and although unfinished upon his death is the site of his tomb.

Location: Entrance keystone (during a visit in May 2012 I was unable to find any evidence of this Green Man. There is evidence above the entrance into the keep of a keystone but the guides on site had no record of a green man or any other head being there

(Many more noted and photographed whilst visiting in May 2012 and all available on flickr site I was unable to take pictures of the wonderful wooden green men on the main pulpit due to an event taking place and would be grateful if anyone visiting would send us some pictures of these (1 is missing and I confirmed that it was stolen many years ago)

Place: Whitstable, High Street, St Alphege Church

Location: This is not the original home of this particular green man. He was part of the choir stalls in St. Margaret’s Church in Canterbury (now the Canterbury Tales tourist attraction in St. Margaret’s Street) which was de-consecrated in the 1960S (?). The choir pews were removed and re-located to St Alphege  Church.
