The Bronte Bluesman The only photograph ever taken of the
noted Blues artist, " Blind Bilberry" Bronte. In this evocative study, " Blind Bilberry
is seen reaching into the cupboard for his wellingtons,
prior to going up onto the moor to rehearse the tunes of the
day with his band. (At the time, these impromptu sessions
were highly popular, and scores of people would gather to
watch Bilberry "Jam" .) Bluesman shades typical of the period worn by those
meeting 'down at the Crossroads'.
