I attained City and Guilds parts 1 and 2 Creative Embroidery at Longslade College, finishing my studies in 1998. My inspiration since completing my studies has come from Asia - particularly from Indian and Arabian folk tales, images and patterns.

This area of study, begun as part of a City and Guilds part 2 foreign embroidery project, and continued as a personal interest, is now leading my to look at Britain and Ireland's Celtic and Pagan legends, designs and beliefs.

I'm married to Nick and have three sons, A Golden Retriever and a Siamese cat, all of whom live in Markfield, Leicestershire.
