I rediscovered the pleasures of needlework nine years ago when my mother and I opened a craft shop/ After visiting an exhibition at Althrop House, inspiration led me to enrol on a City and Guilds Creative Embroidery course, not really knowing what I was letting myself in for. The rest, as they say, is history. We now have a specialist needlework shop, and are constantly surrounded by wonderfully talented people.

My own work is initially based on nature. I seem to always return to the colour, shape and texture of trees and leaves, fungi and flowers.

A founder member of The Visions Group of Textile Artists, I am also pleased to have had pieces of my word published.
