The DSA recommends at 40 hours of tuition and private practice on top of that. Ultimately
learning to drive is all about gaining experience.

Do I need private practice?

Not necessarily, but it can help - see above

Do I have to pass the Theory Test before starting driving lessons?

No, but the more knowledge that you have, the quicker that you may learn.

Can I have lessons in my own car?

Yes, once you have achieved a certain standard, so that everyone feels safe

Approximately 35 minutes of driving in and around Banbury

What is Pass Plus?
•
A post test driving course with a minimum of 6 hours duration that takes the learners skills to
a higher level. It includes motorway driving and night driving and has some elements of
advanced driving. It should help to reduce the insurance bill.
