Stephen Tyreman
MA
DO
In addition to his
commitment to West Parade Osteopaths,
Stephen Tyreman is now the course leader
of the BSc(Hons) course in Osteopathy at
the British School of Osteopathy (BSO) in
London. The BSO is the oldest and largest
school of Osteopathy in Europe with more
than 400 students.
Stephen has been in
practice for over 25 years now and has
extensive experience particularly with
treating children.

Paddy Searle-Barnes
MA(Cantab)
DO
Paddy Searle-Barnes is
in his 17th year of practice and has also
taught undergraduates at the BSO over the
past 12 years. In 1998 he published a
major textbook on Osteopathic Diagnosis
aimed at both graduate and student
osteopaths, which has been well received
by the profession.

Peter Loader
BSc(Ost)
Peter Loader has been
in Lincoln now for nearly 7 years. He has
a special interest in chronic postural
problems caused, for instance, by poor
working positions.

Gwendy Shimwell
BSc(Hons)Ost
Gwendy Shimwell first
worked in Woodhall and Louth for a year
before travelling to New Zealand where she
practised for a year. She returned to
Britain and now works 2 days a week in
Lincoln. She also practises in
Alford.

David Etchell
BSc(Hons)Ost
David Etchell came to
Lincoln from London in 1999. He has a
particular interest in sports
injuries.
