This is not actually a collection, though it could become one, but an offer to write a piece for your day.
If you would like me to do so, please e-mail me with the following information - only the date is required. These are original compositions, and not off the shelf, so please give me thirty days notice. If you cannot do that then the piece may not be ready in time, it depends on how busy I am.
The date (required)
Any words you would like to be set
Any references to other music you may want - please, do not assume that I know the piece you mention and include either a midi or Noteworthy file containing what you want
Any particular combination of instruments you would like
The key and time signature
The tempo and style - again please do not assume that I know the style you want but send me an example.
I shall provide you with a piece about sixty seconds long, and post it here.
I shall try to keep to your specification but I reserve the right to change any words that I consider inappropriate, amend the instrumental combination, and adjust the style and tempo - indeed to change anything at all. Please therefore indicate in your note if something is critical, eg you want the piece for a particular combination of players who would not be able to switch instruments easily.
