
Freelance & Charity Work Since 1994 Jon has worked annually for Manchester International Arts, the organization dedicated to bringing free street art from around the world to the North West. Jon worked as part of the core production team on their Ona Catalana (Catalan Arts) festival in 1994 and subsequently on MIA’s five-year Streets Ahead programme. In 2002 he was part of MIA’s contribution to Manchester’s Golden Jubilee celebrations and he worked on MIA’s Garden of Delights in June 2004 and 2005, and Feast in 2006. In addition to his training work for Manchester’s Lesbian & Gay Foundation, since 1994 Jon has been a volunteer with George House Trust, the charity dedicated to improving the quality of life of those living with HIV/AIDS in the North West (www.ght.org.uk). In 2005, George House Trust celebrated its 20th anniversary. Jon is currently Chair of the organization and, along with the other Trustees, is legally responsible for the financial and operational well-being of the charity and provides support for the Chief Executive and other GHT staff. |
