Since 1994, Jon has been a member of Homes for Change, a Manchester-based Housing Co-operative. All members are involved in the day-to-day running of the co-op.

His particular responsibilities have included the allocation of properties and the monitoring of rent payment and arrears collection within the scheme.

He is currently the Co-ordinator of the co-op’s Training Group, responsible, amongst other things, for the induction training of potential members.

From 2004-06, Jon was the facilitator of a Manchester-based book group, whilst also being an enthusiastic member of the Manchester Lesbian and Gay Chorus.

Jon also enjoys London and Manchester life in general - their bars, cafes, galleries, theatres etc. He also likes keeping fit and swims and runs regularly.
