Freelance Training and Consultancy Services

Jon has had considerable and wide-ranging experience of different forms of training. He is CIPD qualified, having obtained a Certificate in Training Practice from Stockport College.

From 2003-06, Jon was a trainer with Drum Diversity Training, an organization that trains around Diversity awareness issues and how these relate to Equal Opportunities (www.drumdiversity.co.uk). With Drum, Jon was involved in training Greater Manchester Police, Primary Care Trusts, local teachers and other statutory bodies.

Since 2000, Jon has been a trainer for the Manchester Lesbian & Gay Foundation Helpline, helping to design and train an extensive Induction course which fully equips volunteers with the necessary skills to be operators on the charity’s Helpline (www.lgf.org.uk). Jon also trains potential volunteers as part of HIV charity George House Trust's comprehensive Induction course, a programme Jon helped to devise and implement (www.ght.org.uk)

Jon has also provided consultancy work for Target Training, an organization set up to provide training and business support programmes to the creative industries (www.target-training.com).
