  • Progress & Freedom of Foundation Reports  - Founded in 1993, it aims to study the digital revolution and its implications on public policy. It has recently conducted a survey showing that US websites are collecting less personal information.

    Mail Discussion

  • Data Protection - A mailbase discussion run by Jisc, which has been transferred from Mailbase.

  • DP-FOI-Tech Mail list was created to discuss technology issues regarding DPA and FOI compliance
  • Legal Information Service - a new email discussion list which disseminates information regarding the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 and other related legislation. 

  • Privireal Forum - this is an email discussion list, which was created to discuss the implications of the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and national legislation on Research Ethics Committees.

  • Westbrook Data Protection Services Forum - Discussion on data protection issues in general. The aim is to 'exchange ideas and information with other people who share your interests and issues in data protection.'
