EVENTS

Corps Weekend

Corps Weekend is scheduled for 15/16/17 September 2006.

The RADC at Home takes place in Aldershot on Saturday 16 September 2006.  There will be an All Ranks Social on the Friday evening.  The Association AGM is scheduled for Saturday 16 September 2006 at 1330 hours. New members are welcome.

The Corps Church Service is at 1000 hrs Sunday 17 September 2006.  This is followed by a Parade and Wreath Laying Ceremony and an All Ranks Lunch.

Field Of Remembrance

The Field of Remembrance, Westminster Abbey. The Field is created each year by the Royal British Legion in the grounds of Westminster Abbey. The RADC Association Party assembles beside the Corps plot as part of the nation's act of remembrance. During our own short service, Remembrance Crosses are planted on behalf of the Corps and the RADC(V).  Further details can be obtained from the RHQ RADC.

 

Honorary Regimental Secretary

Any member wishing to take on the role of Association Honorary Regional Secretary so that local Past and Present can get together is asked to contact the Regimental Secretary.

Turning Of The Page Ceremony

This takes place quarterly at the Royal Garrison Church of All Saints' Aldershot. Details may be obtained from the RSM, Telephone (01252) 347780.

National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas

The Association has a presence at the NMA. It has sponsored its own tree and has one dedicated in the Ulster Grove in the memory of Sgt Geordie Muldoon was assassinated on the 23 March 1973.  The NMA provides a focus for remembrance and is visited by members on a regular basis.
