History
of the RADC Regimental Association
Founded
from an original proposal made in 1951, when,
in 1960 Major General Henry Quinlan QHDS set up
a committee to consider events for the 40th Anniversary
of the formation of the ADS.
From the RADC Reunion Club, which held its first
function in September 1961, the RADC Association
finally evolved as the All Ranks Club of the Corps.
On 12 December 2001, following on from agreement
at the September AGM, the Charity Commission agreed
to the closure of the RADC Benevolent Fund (Charity
No 265463) and it was incorporated into the RADC
Association.
The Regimental Association Registered Charity
Number is 265463.
The original Constitution document has been amended
and the last amendment was accepted by the membership
at the AGM on 20 September 2003.
