Gelert House is a Victorian stone built house set in a prime location in the centre of the village opposite the grocers shop and next door to the ice-cream parlour. There are four pubs and five restaurants within 250 yards. The house has recently been refurbished to a high standard and will sleep 8 in comfort. There are four bedrooms and four downstairs rooms. At the rear, overlooking the River Colwyn, is an enclosed garden accessible via steps from the rear door.

Four double bedrooms - Three fitted with double beds, one twin bedded room. Electric blankets.

Heating by night storage heaters, option of a coal fire in the large bay window lounge (coal available from grocer’s shop)

Cooking by electricity. Microwave, toaster and electric kettle provided.

Ample kitchen cupboard space, fridge-freezer, pots and pans.

Iron and ironing board

Two colour T.V’s, hi-fi radio/cassette system.

Linen provided.

Crockery and cutlery for eight people.

CHILDREN welcome.

PETS By negotiation at additional charge.

SMOKING No smoking inside the house PLEASE. Use the verandah or the garden

25% deposit on booking(non - refundable), when a more detailed information sheet will be sent.

Balance payable in full 2 weeks before occupancy. The price includes heating, and the provision of bedding but not towels.

Sightseeing: Several National Trust properties nearby. Many historic castles (e.g. Caernarfon, Harlech, Criccieth). Numerous holiday attractions within easy reach (e.g. Portmeirion, Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland Railways)

Walking & Climbing: Easy access to all the paths up Snowdon. Many other Mountains close by e.g. Moel Hebog, Cnicht, Tryfan, The Carnedds. Rock climbing at Tremadog (7miles). A variety of local walks suitable for all levels of fitness

Fishing: Salmon & trout fishing in the river Glaslyn - permits available locally. Sea fishing from a variety of seaside towns nearby

Golf: Several excellent golf courses nearby - Portmadog(8 miles), Criccieth (14 miles) Royal Harlech (20 miles), Morfa Nefyn (20 miles), Caernarfon (12 miles)

Sailing: Estuary sailing at Porthmadog (7 miles).

Seaside: 8 miles from Black Rock sands. Numerous other beaches along the Lleyn peninsula readily accessible.
